OGSG DONATES BUSES TO WORKERS’ UNION, AGENCIES

Ogun State Government has donated four buses to Workers’ Union and government agencies in the State. 

The beneficiaries include; Ogun State Television (OGTV), Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC) and Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

Presenting keys to the representatives of each Agencies and Labour Unions, the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who was represented by his Deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, said the donation was part of the Governor’s promises to aid service delivery across the State.

“The Government is very concerned about the welfare and working conditions of Ogun State Civil Servants and has gradually been going through their needs and requests. Part of it is the recently approved and payment of minimum wage for the State work force”, he said.

Governor Abiodun assured that his administration would continue to deliver on his ‘Building our Future Together’ agenda to all citizens of the State.

Responding, the General Manager, OGTV, Mr. Festus Kehinde, and the State Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Emmanuel Bankole, appreciated the Governor for the gesture, saying the they would make good use of the vehicle, while they also assured government of more mutual working relationship.
