The Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC), Mrs. Mojisola Dosunmu, has charged staffers of the Commission, to ensure compliance with COVID-19 prevention guidelines and develop right attitude to work.
Mrs. Dosunmu gave the charge during a one-day training programme for members of staff of the Commission in Abeokuta, adding that it was organised to create more awareness on COVID-19 pandemic.
Delivering a paper on Developing a ‘High Attitude To Work’, one of the resource persons, the Director, Management Services and Zonal Administration, Mrs. Idowu Kehinde, advised participants to uphold the principles of Civil Service, as it would foster achievement of organisational goals set by government, charging them to be willing and ready to learn, in order to enhance productivity.
In his lecture, titled; ‘Infection Prevention and Control Guidance of COVID-19’, a medical expert from the State Ministry of Health, Dr. Olalekan Sodeinde, said “COVID-19 is very much around, and people should be concerned on how to avoid spread of the deadly virus, by taking personal preventive measures seriously”.
Dr. Sodeinde lauded the government for taken steps to stem the communal spread of the virus, by creating centers across the 20 Local Government Areas of the State, for free COVID-19 test and home treatment packages, for people with mild symptoms.
