OGUN CDC: AMOSUN DELIVERS 20 MILLION NAIRA OFFICE COMPLEX

 In furtherance to the developmental strides of the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led administration, a N20 million worth of office complex for the Ogun State Community Development Council (CDC), has been commissioned in Saje area of Abeokuta.

Speaking at the event, the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, commended the people for their support at ensuring that development cut across all localities, as well as taking community development activities in the State to an enviable height

The Governor who was represented by the State Head of Service, Engr. Lanre Bisiriyu, congratulated the management of the Ministry of Community Development and Cooperatives and the CDC for their commitment towards making the dream of having a befitting secretariat, a reality, adding that government would continue to partner Community Development to ensure more development in the State.

In his welcome address, the Commissioner in the Ministry, Hon. Gbenga Adenmosun, applauded the Governor for his unflinching support and innovation, which was instrumental in the completion of the project, adding that, in a bid to foster smooth running of communal based development activities, the over one hectare land was going to accommodate a resource centre, multi- purpose hall and more office complexes for the area CDCs.

Also speaking at the event, the Chairman, Ogun State Community Development Council, Alhaji Rasaq Ikupoliyi, commended Governor Amosun for being a great achiever and a man of his word, saying, he gave the CDC the land in 2016 with a promise to fund the project, which he eventually fulfilled.

Ikupoliyi thanked the Commissioner for his commitment and doggedness in facilitating the completion of the project in record time.
