Engineers in various Government agencies across Ogun State have been tasked to be proactive and develop their skills through training, in order to add value to the Civil Service and the society at large.
Ogun State Head of Service, Tpl Amope Chokor, stated this while welcoming members of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Ogun State branch, who were on a courtesy visit to her office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, advising them to develop their capacity to enable them deliver effectively as professionals in the execution of projects.
She urged the society to continue to support Governor Dapo Abiodun led administration by training more young engineers, so as to have more hands in building the future of the State together.
Speaking on behalf of NSE, Mrs. Oluremi Emmanuel thanked the Governor for faithfully implementing the enhanced entry point for engineers in the State Civil Service, pledging continued support and cooperation of the Society.
The Head of Service also received in her office, members of Non- Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions of Schools and Colleges, Ogun State branch, charging them to use their knowledge to develop the education sector.
