Ogun State Government has been commended for the signing into law the approval of payment of the non-regular allowance for lawyers in the State Ministry of Justice.
Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Mrs. Yetunde Oresanya, disclosed this while appearing before members of the Finance and Appropriation Committee, led by Hon. Victor Fasanya at the House of Assembly in Oke-Mosan

Oresanya explained that the approval of the payment of the non-regular allowance, also known as “Harmonisation”, has been incorporated into the Salary and had been effective from the first of April, 2019, adding that so far, the Ministry has been able to generate 35 percent, in place of the stipulated 25 percent expected in the first quarter of 2019.
The members of the Committee commended the Solicitor General and members of her team for their pro-activeness at exceeding the projected income proposed for the Ministry.
