OGUN MEDIA TEAM PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO LATE DIJI AKINHANMI’S FAMILY

The Information management team of Ogun State Government has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Diji Akinhanmi, who died in the early hours of Thursday in Abeokuta.

Akinhanmi, a seasoned journalist and broadcaster of repute, was until his death, the General Manager of Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC).

Speaking, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Information and Strategy, Mrs. Modele Sarafa-Yusuf, expressed sorrow at the death, describing the late General Manager, as a professional to the core.

While signing the condolence register, Mrs. Sarafa-Yusuf, noted that the late Akinhanmi was a passionate leader of the OGBC team, whose zeal, vision, diligence, sense of duty and commitment to reposition the Station cannot be faulted.

Also commenting, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Hon. Remmy Hazzan, prayed for the soul of the departed and God’s consolation for the family and friends he left behind, noting that the deceased would be greatly missed by the media community, for his wealth of experience and selfless service to humanity.

On the delegation were the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Strategy, Alhaji Abiodun Awere and Directors in the Ministry.

Akinhanmi who died at the age of 58 years, was survived by his wife and children.
