Former Head of Service (HoS), Mrs. Modupe Adekunle amongst other predecessors, during a congratulatory visit to the newly sworn-in HoS in her office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, described her as a humble, hardworking and kindhearted person, who will take Ogun Civil Service to the next level.

Adekunle applauded the choice of the Governor, enjoining Mrs. Ottun to justify the confidence reposed in her, by maintaining the high standard which the State’s Civil Service was known for.

Also speaking, Engr. Lanre Bisiriyu admonished the new HoS not to relent in her diligence, rather be more focused and committed, praying God to grant her wisdom and strength to be successful during her tenure.

Responding, Mrs. Ottun appreciated Governor Dapo Abiodun for the opportunity to serve and the honour bestowed on her by the former Heads of Service, promising to put in her best, to move the State’s Civil Service forward.

While maintaining that Civil Servants in the State were hard working and goal getters, she assured that their welfare would continue to be of priority to the government, admonishing them to keep the flag flying, for the State to retain its number one position in the comity of states.

“As a worker friendly Governor, I believe that Civil Servants will enjoy the dividends of democracy, their welfare will be taken care of during my tenure because we are going to place our needs before the state government.
