Ogun PCRC Wins Two National Executive Offices

The Ogun State Branch of the Police Community Relations Committee came out best in the last exercise to elect new Executive.

According to the Deputy National chairman Chief, Mogaji Olaniyan, the State was adjudged the overall best during the year under review.

New Chairman of Ogun PCRC, Chief Mogaji Olaniyan, has commended the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo for his enduring support for the Police Community Relations Committee, PCRC over the years.

Chief Mogaji Olaniyan who led officers and members of the State PCRC, told the Alake that he and his members had come to inform the Alake that his royal support had been yielding positive results because the PCRC had been adjudged the best in the country in terms of organization, cooperation with the Police in fighting crime and logistics support from the State Government and the Alake himself.

Chief Olaniyan also told the Alake that as a result of the State’s good performances, Ogun was able to win two important positions in the recent national election of the PCRC.

He disclosed that Chief (Mrs) Adebutu-Kessington bagged the Deputy National President of the PCRC while the Deputy National Vice Chairman, went to him, Mogaji Olaniyan.

He told the Alake that the State PCRC therefore felt that the Egba Paramount Monarch should be the first person to be informed that the National Executive of the PCRC would be coming Abeokuta on April 12, 2019 to come and formally inaugurate the two key national officers.

Chief Olaniyan also thanked the Alake for encouraging him and others to set up industries and businesses in Abeokuta adding that the Monarch’s action made him to set up one in Abeokuta, the State capital.

Olaniyan also noted the excellent relationship between the Alake the Commissioner of Police Ahmed Ilyasu, who he disclosed was working hard to rid Ogun of Bado and other hoodlums.

Earlier in his introduction address, the Area Chairman, Abeokuta South, Arch Popoola said, there were more than 50,000 members of PCRC in Ogun State as today, thereby making Ogun the largest and one of the best organized in counts.
