National Vice Chairman of South West, PCRC, Chief Mogaji Olaniyan, has commended the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo for his enduring support for the Police Community Relations Committee, PCRC over the years.

Chief Mogaji Olaniyan who led officers and members of the State PCRC on a courtesy visit to the Monarch, told the Alake that he and his members had come to inform the Alake that his royal support had been yielding positive results because the PCRC Ogun State, had been adjudged the best in the country in terms of organization, coordination and cooperation with the Police in fighting crime and logistic support from the State Government and the Alake himself.

Speaking further on recent achievements, Chief Olaniyan disclosed that Ogun State was able to secure two main positions in the latest elections into the PCRC National Offices. 

He said that Chief (Mrs) Adebutu-Kessington bagged the Deputy National President of the PCRC while the Deputy National Vice Chairman, went to him Mogaji  Olaniyan.

Also thanked Alake for his support for the opening of Olaniyan Eatery
Mogaji Olaniyan informed the Alake that the National Executive would be coming to inaugurate the two National Exco Members from Ogun State  on April 12, 2019.

Chief Olaniyan also thanked the Alake for encouraging him and others to set up industries and businesses in Abeokuta adding that the Monarch’s action made him to set up one in the State capital.

Chief Mogaji also asked Alake to thank the State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun,  for the provision of operation vehicles and other logistics which had enabled the PCRC and the Police to effectively fight crime in Ogun State.
He added that the great supports of  Senator Ibikunle Amosun for the PCRC and the Police was the envy of other PCRC in Nigeria.

Olaniyan also noted that  the excellent relationship between the Alake and the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Ilyasu, who he disclosed was working hard to  rid Ogun of Bado and other hoodlums.

Earlier in his introductory address, the Area Chairman, Abeokuta South, Venerable Popoola said, there were more than 50,000 members of PCRC in Ogun State as of today, thereby making Ogun the largest and one of the most well organized in country.

Venerable Popoola said that the PCRC would ever appreciate the Alake for his practical assistance whenever he was called upon.  In his response, the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, OBA Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo commended the PCRC for being the vanguard of community and mutual security system.

The Alake also expressed satisfaction with the role of Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Ilyasu for his cooperation with the PCRC as well as the general public in making Ogun State safer.

Oba Gbadebo noted that policing of any community could only be successful where there was mutual cooperation among all stakeholders. 
OBA Adedotun Gbadebo appreciated mutual understanding, cooperation and collaboration among all stakeholders which included the Police the general public and the PCRC.

Alake expressed happiness that Ogun State PCRC was always moving to the next level thereby ensuring very good security in all neighborhoods.

Oba Gbadebo also urged the PCRC to educate and inform the public about their excellent job.
