.—As He and the Alake of Egbaland Lay The #30Million Morgan Parakoyi Egba House in Abeokuta.

The Governor of Ogun State Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has assured his government’s support for Indigenous and local initiatives as well as in synergy with his administration in promoting commerce and entrepreneurship in the State.
Senator Ibikunle Amosun, made this known while laying the foundation of the #30Milion Morgan-Parakoyi Egba House at Iporo Ake, Abeokuta today.
Speaking through the Ogun State Secretary to the Government, Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa, the Ogun State Governor said that the Egba Indigenous Chamber of Commerce, otherwise known as Parakoyi, had been a well organized system that enabled the Egba people to have a head start in Commerce and Trade even to the extent of engaging in external trade.
He therefore congratulated the Olori Parakoyi, Chief Kashimawo and the leadership urging him to sustain the good name acquired by Group over the years by ensuring that indigenous business moved to the next level.
Meanwhile the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, His Majesty Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, CFR, Okukenu IV, has told the Leadership and Members of the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce,Trade and Cooperatives to administer the Parakoyi system with total honesty, commitment and fear of God.
Oba Adedotun Gbadebo made the appeal when laying the foundation of the #30Million Morgan Parakoyi Egba House today at Iporo Ake, Abeokuta.
The Egba Monarch noted that the Egba Indigenous Commerce and Trade System had been doing the Egba Native Economy a lot of good to date adding that this must be maintained.
The Alake specially commended Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibokunle Amosun, for momentous growth and development of Egbaland alongside other areas of the State, which by extention had added values to the increase in the economic activities of commerce in Egbaland.
The Egba Paramount Ruler praised the quality leadership of Chief Kashimawo Laloko since he became the Olori Parakoyi adding that it was his initiative that Egba Parakoyi should have its own Chamber of Commerce House.
He urged the Parakoyi to compliment the efforts of the Senator Ibikunle Amosun’s Administration in fighting recession and eradicating poverty in Egbaland especially through hard work, devoid of rancor and infighting.
In his welcome address, the Olori Parakoyi of Egbaland, Choef Kashimawo Laloko, was grateful to the Alake for his royal support in enabling them to secure the land for the Parakoyi Egba House, promising that Parakoyi Egba would never disappoint the Alake and Egbaland
Chief Laloko was also grateful to the Morgan Family of Iporo for their cooperation and understanding.
Chief Laloko also disclosed that the Egba Parakoyi would compliment Governor Amosun’s Government in his project of eradicating poverty in Egbaland.
Among dignitaries present were the Balogun of Egbaland, Chief Sikirullah Atobatele, Chief Akinwande, the Baagbimo and Olootu Layi Labode, Aare Baaroyin of Egbaland.
