As part of efforts towards enhancing qualitative teaching and learning in Secondary Schools, the Ogun State Government would be training its teachers on digital literacy, remote learning and centralized digital content.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Primary and Secondary Education, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo who revealed this in a chat with newsmen at Oke-Mosan, mentioned that the Ogun Digiclass project, designed to equip and develop teachers and students, during and after Covid-19 era, was in tandem with the vision of Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration, to advance quality education and human capital development driven by technology.
She also explained that over 11,000 education professionals and stakeholders including, Principals, teachers in secondary schools and high level education leadership have been onboard in the closed platform.

“Different clusters of above mentioned groups have been having different virtual engagements from sensitization to subject association meetings, and shared resources, such as learning materials and curriculum for Third Term, to mention a few”, she said.
The Special Adviser also promised that subsequently, additional teachers and school leaders in the State Universal Basic Education Board would also be enrolled and trained.
