The Chief Economic Adviser to the Ogun State Government, Mr. Dapo Okubadejo, has said that Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration has keyed to the concept of the words in the State Anthem, Iseya, as he unveiled its Development Agenda.

Okubadejo disclosed this while playing host to the Advocacy Team of the Civil Society Coalition on Sustainable Development (CSCSD), who paid him a courtesy call in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, to seek Government’s partnership for the upcoming International Stakeholders Conference on SDGs, slated for October 28 to November 1, 2019 in Abeokuta.

He explained that the word, Iseya represented Infrastructure, Social welfare, Education, Youth empowerment and Agriculture, which he said were in line with the Global Sustainable Goals.

The Chief Economic Adviser said, the State Government was committed to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and therefore leveraging on all available opportunities from the Federal Government and International Development Partners to achieve quality service delivery to the citizens.

He pledged Government’s support to the CSCSD course and to host a befitting International Stakeholders Conference in the State, commending them for initiating such Conference that would integrate government, private sector, civil society, academia, media and other relevant stakeholders to share information and best practices on localising SDGs implementation.
