OGUN WEST ASSURED OF EVEN DEVELOPMENT

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has reassured citizens of Ogun West Senatorial District of massive infrastructural development of the region, as no part of the State would be neglected in his government’s developmental plan.

The Governor gave the assurance while speaking with newsmen during the 50th birthday celebration of Alhaji Dende Egungbohun in Ilaro, reiterating his administration’s resolve to be fair to all citizens of the State, irrespective of political affiliation, group or association.

Represented by the State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Olufunmilayo Efuwape, the Governor said, “Ogun West is part of our dear State and also an industrial hub that needs government attention at all times”.

While congratulating the celebrant for attaining the golden age, the Governor lauded his contributions to the development of humanity and Yewaland, advising him to continue the good work and enjoined citizens of the area to emulate his gesture by using their wealth to advance the growth and development of Ogun West and the State in general.

Speaking in the same vein, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle congratulated the celebrant and commended his developmental strides across the zone, imploring other well to do individuals in the region to demonstrate philanthropic gesture to ensure accelerated growth of the area.

The Monarch called on his people to continually pray for the success of Governor Abiodun’s led government and give the administration the needed supports to take the State to the next level.  

The celebrant, who appreciated the Governor and traditional rulers present at the event, promised to sustain his support to develop Yewaland and the State at large.

“I thank God for the opportunity to witness this special day of my life. I appreciate the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his support and encouragement at all times. I also thank all our traditional rulers; I promise to continue my contributions to the development of Yewaland. I also want to advice every citizen of Ogun West to support Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration. This is our home and we must join hands with the government to develop it”, he said.
