The Oluwo Ijemo and Aro Egba, High Chief Kufile, has described the Odeyemi Family as very unique in Egbaland.
The Aaro of Egbaland said that Chief Abiodun Odeyemi was also an iconic person in IJEMO and Egba Family, adding that the new Oganla had always been a very good representive of the Odeyemi Family.
The Oluwo Ijemo congratulated Chief Abiodun Odeyemi as the new Oganla of Ijemo, urging him to live up to the expectations of the Ijemo and people of Egbaland with high quality leadership, for which his family and Ijemo people were known for.
Chief Yinka Kufiile called on Ijemo indigenes to fully work and cooperate with the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, His Majesty, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, as well as all sections of the Egba Nation.
The Aro Egba said that whatever could have happened more than a century ago had been making Egba people more unique and united among comity of Yoruba people.
In his appreciation, the new Oganla of Ijemo, Chief Abiodun Odeyemi, specially thanked the Oluwo of Ijemo and the entire indigenes of the area, for the unique opportunity given him to serve.
The Oganla who is also the Leragun Egba, pledged to committed support any endeavours that would promote unity, peace, progress and prosperity of Ijemo and Egbaland.
The Installation of Chief Solomon Abiodun Odeyemi, as the Oganla of Ijemo, was witnessed by many Prominent Egba High and Ijemo Chiefs.
They included Osi Bode Mustafa, Lisa Oluyomi OlaOgun, Aare Ganiyu Babayeju, BabaAdeen Rasheed Raji, Aare Baaroyin Layi Labode and Gbolasodun Lateef Adenekan.
Others were Asiwaju Maxwell Ayinla and Spouse -Asiwaju Babalaje OgoOluwa Bankole, Otun Baade-Tunji Sunmonu, Bobagunwa -Elect Toye Okanlawon, Bada Asoju-Oba Odekunle and Barrister Gbadebo.
The installation of the new Oganla of Ijemo was also witnessed by a large number of Ijemo Chiefs and Indigenes.
They included Lemo Ijemo Oyewole Oyero, Apena Ijemo Ajisafe Salami, Jaguna Ijemo Mufutau Kehinde, Balogun Ijemo Salimon Ajayi, Olori-oje Abdulrahman Adesina, Asalu Ijemo Sikiru Ogunleye, Ntowa Ijemo James Ewuoso, Baaye Ijemo Pius Sonola.
