Waje, popular female Nigerian artiste, who has been in the industry for over a decade since she added her vocals to P-Square’s hit record, ‘Do Me’ in 2007, and later released her own debut album, titled ”Waje” in 2013, which was followed by her sophomore project, ”Red Velvet” in 2018 uploaded quite an emotional 12 minute clip on her YouTube Channel over the weekend.
Waje in an emotional outburst in the video lamented about the state of the music industry and the reception of fans towards her music.
The video which commenced with series of screenshots involving negative comments by social media users shows Waje, who is seen on a bed with her hair undone and no form of makeup on, while on a phone call with her friend as she laments and scrolls through her phone soaking in negative comments that has been said and is being said about her and her music.
The singer further spoke about her many responsibilities including balancing her life as a mother and making music for love without satisfaction or fulfillment.
