The Oyesiku Family, last Friday 8th May 2020, brought succour to the needy and vulnerable at Ago-Oba and Centenary Hall, Ake, Abeokuta.
The family delegation, led by Chief Olukayode Oyesiku, the Fimoshakin Egba, included, Chief Oladamoye Oyesiku, Aare Aroko-Oba Egba and Miss Kitan Oyesiku paid a courtesy call to His Majesty, the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Michael Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okukenu IV at the Ake Palace.
The spokesperson for the family, Chief Olukayode Oyesiku, told the Alake that the Oyesikus decided to do their own little bit in support of the Ogun State Goverment, Kabiyesi and other well meaning Nigerians, especially the Egbas, in providing food items to the needy.
Chief Oladamoye Oyesiku further informed His Majesty that 500 packages containing the food staples of beans, garri and rice would be distributed to the needy at both locations. Furthermore, he conveyed the warmest regards of Chief Nelson Mobolanle Oyesiku, the Baasegun Alabe Egba to the Kabiyesi.
In his response , the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, thanked the family for their compassion, generosity and patriotism, urging them to continue their support to Egba communities.
Egba High Chiefs present during the distribution of the palliatives, included the Bantun of Egbaland, Chief Kehinde Sofenwa and The Aare Baaroyin of Egbaland, Chief Layi Labode.
