Taxi Drivers in Abeokuta have flooded the town on Thursday afternoon, 3rd of September, 2020, in wild protests, due to the increase in fuel price and the number of passengers allowed by the Government to occupy each cab at a particular time due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
A Newsflagship reporter learnt that the taxi men had refused to offer services to passengers and have united in a wild uproar along the Iyana Mortuary market, Abeokuta.

The taxi drivers despite being cautioned by policemen, resisted to calling more of their peers in joining the protest, not allowing any Taxi to operate in the area.
