The Chairman of the National Population Commission, NPC, Alhaji Nasir Isa Kwarra, Resident Commissioners and other top officers of the Agency, are to pay a two-day working visit to Ogun State from Monday 25 to Tuesday 26 of July 2022.
Newsflagship Online Newspaper learned that, the visit is a major step towards sensitising the populace on the national head count exercise coming up next year.
According to Yeye Oluwaseyi Aderinokun Olusanya, one of the NPC Commissioners, the Ogun State tour would start with a courtesy call on the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo at the Ake Palace on Monday, 25 July by 10 am.
After their visit to the Alake, the NPC entourage would immediately move to the
Olusegun Obasanjo presidential Library, from 1pm to see former President Olusegun Obasanjo
The first Day exercise would be rounded off with another courtesy call on the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun at the Governor’s Office Complex, OkeMosan, Abeokuta at 4pm.
Newsflagship Newspaper also reports that the NPC’s Day 2 tour of Ogun State kick off with a courtesy visit to the Onimoko’s Palace at Umeko in Yewa North at 12noon.
The Day would be rounded off with the Monitoring of various enumeration areas in Imeko between 1pm and 2pm.
