The newly installed Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, is to visit the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, His Majesty, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, CFR, this Wednesday, 21st of October, 2020.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, who replaced the deposed nephew Muhammad Sanusi II, on 9th March 2020, would be paying his first official visit to the Southwest, beginning with the Alake.
Aminu Ado Bayero, a journalist and Public Relations Consultant and Pilot, was born in July 1,1961. His father, Ado Bayero, was the Emir of Kano from 1963 to 2014 and the longest serving Emir in the history of Kano.
As a major part of his one day visit to Abeokuta, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero would be accompanied by his host, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, to pay a courtesy visit to the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun at the Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
Other activities lined up for August Visitor included a civic reception for 15th Emir of Kano, where he would be treated to Egba Cultural Music.
