Princess Adekemi Osenla, the daughter of his Majesty, Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu was honoured as the Erelu Amororo today at the Owu Palace, Abeokuta.
Speaking after the conferment, the Olowu advised the new Erelu to cooperate with the Kabiyesi and Owu Chiefs as well as indigenes in the task to develop Owu Kingdom.
He further added that she should not be far away from the Kingdom and she should also develop the already established relationship with the Owu indigenes so as to enhance peace and effectiveness in her new title.
The new Erelu Amororo then pledged to always be available to Owu when needed and to adhere to the laws of the Kingdom.
She also promised to work closely with other Owu Chiefs and indigenes towards the development of the land.
At the installation, the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland His Majesty Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, was represented by a six man delegation including Balogun Sikirullah Atobatele, Agbaakin Rasheed Raji, Aare Baaroyin Layi Labode, Aare Bobagunwa Victor Abiodun Adebayo, and Bada Asoju Oba Wole Odekunle
