The Agura of Gbagura, Oba Saburee Babajide Bakre has sympathised with the victims of the Lafewa infernos, describing the incident as a quite unfortunate one due, to the damages caused.
İt was allegedly reported a petrol tanker while releasing its contents mistakenly spilled it into the market, thereby causing a big fire, which eventually destroyed over 200 million worth of goods.
According to a source, the Agura of Gbagura also pleaded with the government at the State and local level as well as the influential and prominent residents of Ogun state to come to the aid of the victims who were affected by the fire incident at Lafewa market.
He further advised the market men and women to always ensure safety in all manner. The Lafewa infernos affected the largest milling store in the area where Local rice is been processed for people in Abeokuta.
The Monarch appealed to Governor Abiodun to compassionately compensate the affected traders at the Lafenwa infernos, adding that only Almighty God could adequately comfort and compensate them.
