In order to ensure peaceful co-existence between residents of border towns, Sagamu Local Government Authority, has embarked on Boundary Adjustment exercise in Ogijo area, a boundary town between Ogun and Lagos States.
The Vice Chairman, Transition Committee, Sagamu Local Government, Alhaji Wasiu Adebayo who stated this during the boundary demarcation exercise, noted that it was imperative for the two states to harmonise revenue collection, from residents of the border towns, as well as increase the Internally Generated Revenue.
He decried encroachment by some officers from neighbouring State who were found collecting revenue from residents on Ogun land, saying such act had been causing undue boundary dispute among dwellers in the area.
