ABEOKUTA – A leading governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has cautioned Muslims across the country, especially Ogun state to moderately celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festival to avoid unnecessary tragedy.
Dapo Abiodun gave the advice in his Ileya message to Muslims in Ogun State on Tuesday.
He said, there are more years of Eid-el-Kabir to celebrate than to kill oneself as a result of stupendous celebration.
The oil magnate further promised residents of the state brighter future ahead, if elected as Governor of the State come 2019.
“I want to advice our Muslims friends in Ogun state to celebrate in moderation to avoid unnecessary accidents both at home and out of home as we will live to celebrate more of this Insha Allahu.
“This season of Sacrifice comes with Joy, good health, favour and loads of bounties, and I join Muslim faithfuls to celebrate the Sallah.
“I also wish that this season will brighten up our families lives and the blessings of the season fill our lives with happiness and also open doors of success.”
He further urged the Muslim faithfuls to remain steadfast in prayers for peace and unity of the country.
