SEVEN INJURED, ONE MISSING AS SUSPECTED HERDSMEN ATTACK PLATEAU STATE

The Rafiki and Dutse Kura communities of Bassa Local Government Area in Plateau State had been attacked this morning and about seven persons were alleged injured by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

The president of Miango Youths Development Association, Lawrence Zongo, disclosed that there was a fresh attack this morning around 6:30

He said, the number of deaths had not been confirmed, more than seven people had been seriously injured by Fulani terrorists.

He said that one of the persons shot by the assailants had been declared missing, adding that youths in the communities were said to have entered the bush looking for him following speculation that he may had been killed.

Zongo commended and appreciate the efforts of the management of Enos Hospital and Bingham University Teaching Hospital in Jos for taking time in treating the injured ones.
