The Akarigbo of Remoland, His Majesty, Oba Ajayi has installed Sir Kensington Adebutu as the new Balogun of Remoland. The ceremony which took place at the Akarigbo Palace, attracted prominent Yoruba Traditional Rulers, including the Alake, Oni of Ife, Olowo-Eko, Oshimawe of Akure, Olu of Ilaro among about 40 others.
In appreciation of the honour, Sir Adebutu expressed gratitude to the Akarigbo and people of Remoland for coming together to give a great traditional title. He also specially thanked the Alake of Egbaland, his Majesty, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo for his love and support i in all his endeavours.
He noted particularly the Alake’s standing by him in establishing his businesses and interest and Abeokuta and other parts of Egbaland. Sir Adebutu also extolled other Yoruba Monarchs that attended his installation as the Balogun of Remoland.
In his votes of thanks, a gubernatorial aspirant and son of the new Balogun of Remoland, Oladipupo Adebutu thanked the Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Ajayi, for the honour done to the Adebutu Family. He assured that his father and the Patriarch of the family, would continue to meet his obligations to Remoland, Nigeria and humanity as a whole.
That Alake’s entourage included the Odofin of Egbaland, Kola Akintoye, thePaakoyi Kashimawo Laloko, the Bantun, Kehinde Sofenwa and Aare Baaroyin, Layi Labode. Rita Olori
