The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has warned parents and guardians to stop outsourcing parental responsibilities to teachers and others, not immediately concerned with such natural and early years of fostering of children.
Governor Dapo gave the warning while speaking at the lunch to mark the Eid-El-Fitri Celebration at Presidential Villa for the Ogun State League of Imams and Alfas.
Prince Dapo Abiodun explained that the early and adolescent years of children should be directly monitored by the direct parents of the future leaders by the nuclear parents themselves instead of firming such close family job to mere formal and physical classrooms.
The Governor, who was not berating the vital roles, excellent and professional teachers play in the growth and development of the children, explained that, the parents had the primary and innate responsibilities to closely train, mentor and monitor their children to ensure that they don’t fall into the group of Yahoo Yahoo and Youth Cyber Criminals.
Speaking further on the Youth Restiveness, Prince, the Ogun State Helmsman warned landlords in the State to know the full indenties of their tenants to ensure that they were not criminals in the categories of kidnappers, murderers, bandits and sliced groups.
He disclosed that, the State Government now has zero tolerance for all forms of criminalities in the State, adding that any building or structure that house criminal elements would be demolished.
Welcoming members of the League of Imams and Alfas as well some Community and Political leaders, Governor Dapo Abiodun disclosed that 2,000 of 5,000 Teachers, he promised to employ had been engaged, adding that the remaining would get their letters of engagement very soon.
He restated that, his government was in full realization that Government was a continuum, adding that, all uncompleted projects, that were beneficial to the people of the State, would be completed.
Abiodun therefore explained that his Government would be fair just and fair to all sections of Ogun State in that exercise.
