Farmers in Ogun State have been charged to support the present administration to ensure food security, as government continues to provide financial, logistics and enabling environment to all categories of farmers.
The Director of Agriculture, Sagamu Local Government, Mr. Rufus Olaleye, gave the charge at a meeting with All Farmers’ Association of Nigeria (AFAN), held at Ewusi Palace, Sagamu, expressing government’s readiness to address challenges confronting farmers, towards increasing agricultural production.
Olaleye enjoined farmers to wait for steady rain before commencing year 2020 planting, in order to avoid waste of resources.

The Chairman AFAN, Sagamu Branch, Prince Mikaila Ayansegun, in his remark, appreciated government for its efforts at repositioning the agricultural sector, pledging the Association’s support to government’s policies and programmes.
