The Apase elect of Egba Muslims, Chief Tajudeen Gbolahan Tijani, has been speaking on the honours being done to him by the Egba and Itoko Muslim Communities.
In his acceptance speech, to the Balogun Itoko and BabaAdeen Muslumi of Egbaland, Chief Rasheed Raji, the Apase elect thanked the Egba and Itoko Muslim Communities for deeming it fit to transfer the Islamic honorary titles bestowed on his late father.
Chief Gbolahan pledged that he and his family would sustain the love of Allah and service to humanity, and perhaps add more values to the Muslim Communities.
He disclosed that the Chief Imam of Itoko, and the Muslim community had been earlier in contact with him with a view to going through the necessary procedures.
At the 8th day Fridau of his father, the late business tycoon and the immediate past Apase of Egba Muslims, Alhaji Mutairu Ayinla Tijani, the BabaAdeen of Egbaland, Chief Rasheed Raji, had pronounced the younger Tijani as the new Apase of Egbaland.
BabaAdeen said that he was making the pronouncement based on the tremendous contributions of his father to Egba Muslim Community, and humanity only general.

Meanwhile, the Chief Imam of Itoko, Alhaji T. Ola Oyewole had disclosed that the Itoko Muslim Community had unanimously decided to transfer the title of Apase Muslumi of Itoko to Alhaji Tajudeen Gbolahan Tijani for the unbroken legacy of good relationship between late business tycoon, Alhaji M. A. Tijani and Itoko Muslims.
