Chief Ganiyu Ayobami Biobaku; Balogun of Ilupeju, Oke Odo Gbagura, in his welcome address at the occasion, said that Oba Akindele is a blessing to Gbagura and any part of Ilupeju
He explained that since the installation of Oba Akindele, there has been momentous development in Oke Odo, Iluleju in that of the greatest need of man on the areas of one of the fundamental needs that is water which was the greatest problem experienced by the indigines and residents of Lafenwa Aiyetoro Road up to Rounder.
The Balogun also praised the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo for promoting peace, progress and understanding among all the Egba townships which, according to the Balogun, had translated into unprecedented development in almost since 190 years ago when Egba Kingdom was re-established in Abeokuta
Chief Biobaku also noted with gratitude, Oba Saburi Babajide Bakre, the Head of Gbagura traditional Townships for his all inclusive leadership adding that, Oba Saburi Bakre had proved beyond all reasonable doubts that he’s a team player and his reign is all inclusive.
Chief Biobaku therefore called on all Gbagura indigenes at home and abroad to unite in enhancing progress in the areas.
