THE CREATION OF 500,000 JOBS IN THE STATE HAD RESOLVED THE ISSUES OF UNEMPLOYMENT- AMOSUN

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun said that the creation of over 500,000 jobs in the State had resolved the issue of unemployment.

Senator Ibikunle stated this during the Ogun State Investors Forum in Abeokuta, on Tuesday while pointing out his administration’s achievements so far.

He described the job created as the type of job people can began to plan for their lives and build their future.

Amosun also said that his administration’s support towards empowering the people of the state through initiatives that would make the State more viable for business.

He further explained that his mission is to make Ogun State an Industrial hub for businessmen and women, entrepreneurs and Investors.

While addressing the issues surrounding climate change, Amosun explained that the State had been mindful of the effect of cutting down trees without replacement.

He said that his government had been striking a balance by falling trees with replacement in collaboration with the United Nation Initiative.

Amosun disclosed that his government had been collaborating with Lafarge, adding that Lafarge had its cooperation with the United Nation and they are trying to preserve Aworo forest where they want to plaint over one hundred trees.

The guest speaker and former Mexican President, Felipe Calderon, in his address called on Ogun State Government to consciously redirect the economy through Strategic Planning.

He added that for the state to build a good economy, we need to to reduce expenditures and increase revenue.
