The Isaga Orile Council in Chiefs had installed a new Aare-Ago, he is the Chief Executive Director of Senior Citizens’ Care Foundation, a non-profit Organisation, founded in 2004 for the care of the Elderly in Nigeria, Chief Jide Taiwo.
The New Aare Ago, Chief Jide Taiwo was installed on Tuesday, 7 July, 2020, at the Palace of the Onisaga of Isaga Orile, Abeokuta, Oba J. O Olusoji Tella.
The Onisaga of Isaga, Oba J. O. Olusoji Tella, told the new Aare Ago that he was being honoured with the title because of his concrete and verifiable activities towards the growth and development of Isaga Orile and other towns in the Abeokuta North LGA.
Oba Olusoji Tella called on other sons and daughters of Isaga Orile not to leave to the State and Local Governments alone, the developments of their place of birth and origin.
The Onisaga of Isaga Orile added that Chief Jide Taiwo as a patriot of Isaga, had always identified with the ethos and pathos of his people, adding that the new Aare-Ago was always ready to bring succour to the people of the area.
After his installation, the new Aare-Ago of Isaga paid the Alake of Egbaland, a courtesy visit at his Palace.
He told the Alake that he was paying him a courtesy visit and homage to formally inform him about his Chieftaincy title
Responding, the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Michael Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, congratulated the new Aare Ago of Isaga, urging him not to relent in his proverbial patriotic identification and assistance to his Isaga Orile immediate community and Other Communities in the Egba Traditional Council Areas.
The Alake, who is the President of Egba Traditional Council added that he was glad that the Onisaga, a preeminent member of the Egba Traditional Council of Chiefs, had chosen a true Son of the soil as the new Aare-Ago of Isaga Orile.
Oba Gbadebo also prayed that his tenure would be enduring and fruitful to Isaga Orile and the Egba Traditional Council areas.
Responding to the Alake, the new Aare-Ago, Chief Jide Taiwo, appreciated the Egba Monarch for his support and prayers.
The new Aare-Ago disclosed that the Onisaga of Isaga Orile, Oba J. O. Olusoji Tella, had also congratulated him based on his contributions and sacrifices towards the development of his immediate communities, especially concerning the Senior Citizens’ Care Foundation, of which he is a member.
Chief Jide Taiwo, when speaking with Newsflagship reporters in an interview, stated that there was always a reward for hard work, and he felt very honoured to be rewarded with the Chieftaincy title, urging others not to relent in their service to humanity.
He assured that he would continue to uphold the good legacies of the Taiwo family, and be persistent in humanitarianism.
