Some Fulani Herdsmen Have Caused Serious Trouble in an Adamawa Community After Storming the Area to create Havoc.
Suspected Fulani Herdsmen have killed two people at Kwayine Village in Demsa Local Government Area of Adamawa State. Scores of others were injured in the Incident. According to Leadership, an eyewitness from the affected area who flee the area for safety, said the Fulani herdmen attacked the village on Tuesday night unleashing mayhem on people leaving behind two people lifeless, noting that despite efforts to end the crisis by government, the crisis continued to escalate on daily basis. Kwayine village is few kilometres to Kodomun village where over 10 people were killed in couple of months ago resulting to constitution of farmers/herder committee by the state government to bring to end farmer/herder crisi in the state. The eyewitness said many villagers had since flee the areas to Numan, Demsa towns and the state capital for the fear of being killed by the ravaging herdsmen. Hannatu Bulus who is taking refuge in Numan and a mother of four, said the suspected Herdsmen move around with sophisticated weapons intimidating farmers. “If these fulanies entered your farm and you raised alarm challenging them for grazing on your crops, they would kill you because they are in possession of sophisticated weapons.”
