ABEOKUTA – Some youths and students under the umbrella of Triple A Students and Youths Campaign Organisation has vowed to secure 20,000 votes for the gubernatorial candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement Hon Abdulkabir Akinlade in Ogun state.

The body stated this while inaugurating it secretariat at Abiola way in Abeokuta the Ogun state capital.

The state coordinator of the organisation Com. Olusegun Clement in his welcome address promised the APM candidate of over 20,000 votes but appealled to the gubernatorial hopeful to ensure that youths constitute some aspects of his government.

Clement who is the Special Adviser on students matters to governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State however enjoined members of the organisation to embark house to house campaign which has been on for over one month.

Ogun APM governorship candidate, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade cutting the tape to declare open the TRYSCO secretariat in Abeokuta on Saturday with him his Special Assistant to Governor Amosun on Students Matters, Clement Olusegun

His words, ” I want to use this medium to tell our “incoming governor’ by God’s grace that we are fully ready for this election as we have started a house to house campaign for the past one month ago.

” With our present effort we are ready to deliver over 20,000 votes to the governorship candidate of the APM but I want to as well beg our member to continue the door to door campaign because by God’s grace our effort will pay of. “

Responding to the coordinator’s request, the APM candidate said, by God’s grace our administration will have young persons adding that he knows the efficacy of the youths power.

He said ,”I want to use this opportunity to say a very big thank you to you all and also nothing really touches one’s heart, than when young people using their own innovative and resources rightly to take their destiny in their own hands.

“By this special grace of God what we actually started here today will be the beginning of greater things to come and I pray by March 2nd, I Prince Abdulkabir Akinlade will win the election with your support”.
