United Kingdom Based Egba Charity Society To Feed Leper Colony Inmates in Abeokuta For One Month Each

The Egba United Society of UK and Ireland is to donate foodstuffs to the Lepers Colony, Iberokodo, Abeokuta by 2pm on Wednesday, 15 April, 2021.


The Nigerian Coordinator and Matron of the Society in Abeokuta, Chief (Mrs) Chief Mrs Elizabeth Oluremi Akintoye, the Èrelu Ọdofin of Egbaland told Newsflagship that the exercise was part of the annual programme of the Society to help the underprivileged in Egbaland and elsewhere.


She explained that items to be given away, would include, rice, gari, yams, and beans.

Chief Mrs Elizabeth Oluremi Akintoye further disclosed that the food items had been packaged to last each inmate at least, one full feeding.


The Erelu Odofin also said that the Egba Egba United Society of the UK and Ireland would, from time to time, be carrying out one project or another in the Charity Home.
