The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) has promised to synergise with the State Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA), for effective service delivery towards ensuring safety on the roads.
The Corps-Commander and Chief Executive Officer, Commander Olaseni Ogunyemi gave the assurance while receiving management of OGWAMA, who were on a courtesy call to TRACE, reiterating his agency’s commitment to safety of lives and property in the State, which he said was a philosophy in accordance with the guiding principle of Governor Dapo Abiodun.
The Special Adviser on Environment and General Manager, OGWAMA, Mr. Ola Oresanya, who led the team, appreciated TRACE’s efforts for making the job of waste management easier in the past years, assuring that the Authority would provide the desired well-being of the citizens, which he noted was a key point of this government in ensuring Ogun State to be dirt free.
“Our job is to support your agency during an accident and rescue operations, operatives would be trained in assisting TRACE. We would make sure that all our drivers are well trained by your agency, so as to be up and doing while discharging their duties”, he said.
The Chairman, Private Sector Partnership (PSP), OGWAMA, Mr. Emmanuel Jolaoso, also commended TRACE for its effectiveness and solicited more support in promoting conducive environment in the State.
